Meet DQUARTZ, the first ceramic coating to provide real-world mechanical resistance to swirls and scratches. It uses “Functionalized Detonation Nano Diamond Powder”, real diamonds? Unfortunately not. But this comes as close as you can get!

The pencil test is a common method to measure the hardness of paints or coatings. Essentially, it checks which standardized graphite will be hard enough to scratch the surface. As always, we steer clear of the popular, yet physically impossible claims of extreme Mohs scale hardness, as no one truly intends to scratch their paint!
