DYNOshield PPF is a crystal clear, 8-mil thick film using STEK’s unique HYDROphobe® top coating to deliver an extremely high gloss, extra durable finish. DYNOshield’s brilliant shine will certainly help maintain that “just waxed” look for your car without you having to apply any wax!
Superior contaminant resistance (water marks, insects, bird droppings, road oils, exhaust smoke, and pollutants) keeps this film clear and glossy. Excellent “shock-proofing” qualities protect vehicle paint against chipping, scratching, car wash brush marks.
DYNOmight takes this to another level with a 10-mil thick film for the most demanding applications, while still retaining superior appearance to other thick films.

PPF has come very far since the early days, you can expect ideal optical clarity and anti-yellowing performance compared to older films. With modern software, we are able to deliver superior coverage and edge-wrapping performance.
While STEK does have its own coating built in, we will still apply CQUARTZ over top PPF for added benefit. With any ceramic coating application, this is automatically included on the PPF.

Template Kit vs Modified vs "Bulk"
Standard Template - Utilizing state-of-the-art software and our Graphtec plotter, we access a library of patterns for your vehicle. We “print” each panel from a variety of roll sizes with minimal changes, and apply each piece to your vehicle.
Modified Template - Using our software’s ability to alter patterns, we begin to extend edges and remove seams where possible. Superior coverage and an end result that is less noticeable are the goals here. Some disassembly of the vehicle will be included to achieve this.
Fully Customized / “Bulk” Install - The most comprehensive of all of our installations, where we work to hide every edge possible and deliver the least noticeable installation. We may forgo templates in favor of placing an un-cut piece of film over a panel, and remove more pieces from the vehicle to hide edges under the trim.

All PPF packages include a Hand Washdetail, with specific attention given to the areas prior to PPF application. Decontamination, spot polishing and touch-up paint application are included within reason.
The edges around the hood are all wrapped where possible, with care to hide corners as much as possible. Fender pieces will be wrapped into the hood opening and wheel-arch where possible.
As certified STEK installers, a 10-year warranty is included (yellowing, delamination, cracking, and bubbling) and we provide an additional 1-year installer’s warranty for any issues directly related to our work.
Existing paint chips will require touch-up before PPF application. We do not always bill for this, but if it is the case- materials are usually $35 or less and labor is billed at $125/hr in half-hour increments.

The edges around the hood are all wrapped where possible, with care to hide corners as much as possible. Fender pieces will be wrapped into the hood opening and wheel-arch where possible.

The partial hood piece extends 12-18” from the front edge of the hood, depending on the hood design and templates available. The partial fender piece will follow that edge through the panel.
